Is the Mizzou student health center free? ›

All currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to use the services of the Student Health Center. The health fee is required for all students enrolled in fall or spring semesters taking seven or more credit hours. Those not required may choose to pay the health fee to receive covered services.

Services Covered by Student Health Fee

Four psychiatry visits per semester. Annual flu shot (no charge) Some sexually transmitted infections (STI) screening tests (for chlamydia and gonorrhea; an exam charge may be applied if visit with physician or nurse practitioner is deemed necessary)

Mizzou requires students to show proof of two measles, mumps and rubella/MMR vaccines (required of all students); a meningococcal vaccine (required of students living in MU-owned housing); and a tuberculosis screening (required of high-risk students).

The Student Activity Fee is a mandatory fee that provides funding to on-campus programs and services that students can utilize.

The Missouri Land Grant provides free tuition for Pell-eligible Missourians. Missouri residents who apply for admission are also automatically reviewed for scholarships like the Chancellor's and Curators Awards and the Excellence Award.

If you do NOT purchase a Student All Sport Pass students will pay regular admission prices for Football and MBB and $3 for all other ticketed sporting events.

The cost of STD/STI testing and treatment will vary based on what tests you need, your income, and whether or not you use health insurance. Total final price may vary between $0-250.

Mizzou has a rolling admissions process, which means you can receive a decision as early as two weeks after you've submitted all your application materials. You can choose to submit test scores or complete a test-optional application.

Religious exemption. A student shall be exempted from the immunization requirements of this rule as provided in section 167.181, RSMo, if one (1) parent or guardian objects in writing to the school administrator that immunization of that student violates his/her religious beliefs.

Does Mizzou require COVID vaccine? ›

The university is suspending the requirement for faculty, staff and student employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption in compliance with Executive Order 14042.

A+ funding is available during the fall and spring semesters to eligible students enrolled in at least 12 credits per semester between both institutions, with a minimum of 9 credit hours at MACC.

There are several options for free health insurance in Missouri for individuals and families with low incomes. Medicaid and MO HealthNet for Kids provide comprehensive healthcare benefits to eligible individuals and children.

MUSC residential students are automatically assessed a Wellness Fee each academic term as part of the cost of attendance. Students may use their student ID badges to access the facility and services anytime during operational hours.
