The main issues with UD are issues you'd find at any school. Once you find your place within the school, you will find yourself thriving.

I love UD. Both my parents went here and it’s also where I met the love of my life. The classes and campus are fantastic and its so easy to make friends.

I am grateful to have experienced my undergraduate years at the University of Delaware. It is a large enough student body, not too small or overly crowded. It offers a variety of majors, clubs, and events to become deeply involved in. Most importantly, its sense of community was able to connect me to my life long best friends.

So far, I am so happy with my choice of attending the University of Delaware. This school is so amazing and making students feel comfortable and heard throughout campus. I feel as if I am getting a great education as well as the college experience that everyone deserves to have! One thing that I would like to see change is the school spirit and the sports. Since we are a Division I school, I expected to have fun game days and a lot of school spirit, but there is little to none. Hopefully that will change in the future!

I came into the University of Delaware as a transfer student, since I came in the spring it was much harder to meet people and make friends. So far I like UD a lot.

It is clear The University of Delaware tries hard to provide opportunities for all students and allows for students to be their best selves. I was first drawn to the beautiful campus. There are so many places to study, eat, meet up with friends, etc. Majority of the professors I have had so far are kind and helpful and try their best to make class engaging and interesting for students. I recommend The University of Delaware to my friends and family.

UD was a great experience! There’s not much to do in the surrounding area other than go tax-free shopping, but there’s plenty to do on-campus with student life initiatives.

Great place to get an education while also enjoying a social life. There is plenty activities on and off campus. Well placed to be able to travel to several places of interest.

The most outstandingly bad feature I've encountered thus far is the difference between the nice and terrible housing on campus. A newer dorm hall is niccceeee, modern, has A/C, and adequate facilities. An older dorm can be 100 years old with minimal renovations, has mice and roaches, no A/C or elevators, flooding, and may have black mold. The fun part is if you aren't lucky in winning the housing application lottery then you don't get a choice in which you end up living in. Everything is nice to just ok. The food is just meh, but they're doing better, the party scene is what you'd expect from one of the highest alcoholism rates on a campus in the US, and the curriculum is middle range, but most professors do care. As for the campus, it's scenic and has a lot to explore if you make the effort. I don't regret my decision going here.

Attending the University of Delaware has provided me with multiple opportunities, even just as a freshman in college.
The surrounding town of Newark, as well as Main Street being close is a huge benefit for attending, as it provides great places to eat and hang out at at reasonable prices.
I would like to see the transportation improved as right now it is not the best, and the accompanying app for our buses is always off, leading to many people rushing and being late.

The University of Delaware has proved to be the best choice of schooling over and over. Our beautfigul campus, student life, and engaging academics has made my time here unforgettable. My Freshman year I was in a beautfgul spacious dorm, with resident assistants who helped make this a fun, welcoming and safe environment. Student involvement makes this campus smaller, more enjoyable experience. Classes can be difficult, but wiht majority of faculty truly caring about their students success. Off campus living is allowed immediately after freshman year whihc has been the best expierence as well.

I love the social aspect and the academics. As a senior, I've had a great experience in the education program and learned so much. I've been in many placements in a variety of different grades and had great mentor teachers which made my experience even better. I love the friends I made and the sorority I'm in.

I am a current student at the UD campus in Wilmington. I will earn my Associates Degree in May, and will transition to on-site attendance at the UD Newark Campus. Transitioning has been a little scary and I would like to see more help in this area with advisors. specifically for student housing and costs. I see a lot of education nights for this, but none have been applicable to me. Other than that, this has been a great experience. I am dedicated to my field and look forward to the big move on campus.

Overall my experience as a freshman in computer science has been great. I have succeeded in my classes and gotten involved in club, which helped me meet great new people. I’ll see over the years if this changes but so far, so great.

Some of the professors are racist and see the black and white color. Don’t like Asians and pretty biased towards the exceptions. Specially civil engineering has very very less professors in place and out of them some only support white or black skin.

Overall my experience in UD has been fantastic. My main reason for attending UD was for the academics. I plan on pursuing physical therapy and UD has the number one program. I’ve found people that I’ve truly connected with and I’ve taken classes where the sole purpose was to guide me through the crazy process of adjustment as a freshmen’s. There are a vast amount of extracurricular activities I’m currently part of a service sorority and a puppy club that works closely with the seeing eye. One thing I would like to see change is more AC installment in dorms during spring allergies flare up and it becomes difficult when the only place you can live with doesn’t have AC. Overall my experience has been very fun and I’m excited for the upcoming years. I appreciate all the events and fun activities UD plans for us and gives us access to.

As a second semester student, I have quickly fallen in love with this school and the people that I have met here so far. My favorite parts about this school would entail the beautiful campus, the education that I'm receiving, my fellow classmates, and the student centers.
