The duties are varied and no two dayswill be the same. Our residents are individuals and they all deserve to betreated as such.

What is ReablementReablementplays a major part in reshaping the future of care and support - helping peopleto live longer, healthier and more independent lives in their own homes.

Itis a little different from the traditional residential care associated withcare work. We support people to do things for themselves again, by maintainingand improving independence enabling more fulfilled lives in their own homes.Working together with the person towards personal goals and outcomes whichwould improve their lives.

Reablementcentres on recovery, supporting people with personal goals to be achieved typicallyup to 6 weeks. You will work with service users to develop their skills andconfidence to achieve daily independent living. There may be an element ofpersonal involved to look at ways to allow people to become independent withthis. Your focus will be to enable each individual to achieve their goals andregain their health and independence. Working with other colleagues such asOccupational Therapists and Social Workers, you will contribute to personcentred support plans and ongoing progress reviews.Thisis an extremely rewarding role where you can realise the impact of the greatwork you do on a daily basis - you could be part of our team and share thesegreat experiences with the people you support.

Shiftpatterns include a range of early shifts (approx. 7:00am - 1:30pm/ 3pm), lateshifts (approx. 3pm – 10.00pm) and weekend working.
